The Experience

A Fundamental Understanding of Music

After many years studying and traveling around the world, knowing many different cultures and ways of conceiving music, Miguel Hiroshi came up with an ultimate system for teaching, learning and creating music.

The system has its essence on Rhythm. Rhythm is how we measure the movements of the universe. Our heart’s beats, the sound of the leaves being blown by the wind, the constant swaying of the waves in the sea, the pace of our steps, the night following the day, every- thing is ruled by rhythm. Rhythm is the root and base of the tree of music and it gives birth to all the branches that support music.

During this encounter we will get closer to our own rhythm and musical curiosity. We will create music guided by Hiroshi’s method, which is inspired by an ancestral technique from India for learning and creating music and some other tools and techniques that Miguel has embodied during his multiple journeys around the world.

A Method For All

No music level is required for this experience but you will certainly need openness and good disposition to learn and go deep in the music learning and creative process.

There will be some instruments available for you to embark on this journey. Some percussion instruments such as cajon, calabash, square drum, shamanic drum and handpan. And some string instruments such as African Ngoni, Jarana (Mexican ukelele) and other harps and guitars. Bringing your VOICE is mandatory.

If you want to bring your own favorite instrument (whatever that is), you are more than welcome to do so.

The Dao of Yoga

This Musical Journey will be sustained by the Teachings & practice of The Dao of Yoga:

A deep and Conscious flow to explore and cultivate embodiment and awareness. Drawing from different systems and methods of Yoga and Qigong, influenced by Tantric and Daoist philosophies, and flavored by the beauty of the Indigenous ways.

Through the teachings & practice of The Dao of Yoga we will find that space within where music is born. Through the mathematical science of rhythm we will learn new ways to express the essence of who we are.

You will create beautiful melodies with your physical bodies, your voice, and the Musical instrument of your choice, This melodies will work as the language between you, the Natural World, and the Spirit Realm.
